Youth Camp 2nd- to 12th-graders | Three sessions
Welcome home!
Located in the inspiring Colorado Rocky Mountains at the foot of the iconic Collegiate Peaks, the A/U Ranches provides campers with the opportunity to make friends with other spiritual seekers in an atmosphere of unconditional love.
Campers entering 2nd–8th grade (Sky Valley Ranch) and 9th–12th grade (Round-Up Ranch) participate in program major activities – horsemanship, mountain, or water – in addition to free choice time, when they can pursue a variety of interests: swimming, fishing, ropes course, rock gym, arts and crafts, canoeing, kayaking, archery, free reading, and more!
Children of all abilities explore the splendor of the outdoors and nature’s vast playground at camp!
What's your major?
Youth campers choose a program within one of three majors – horsemanship, mountain, or water – when they come to camp. They spend nine of the 15 days each session in their program, learning specific skills – how to ride a horse, how to hike at elevation, and how to raft safely, for example.
Programs within the major areas grow with campers, so they can stretch and progress in new ways within that area. Some campers choose to focus on one major year after year, while others jump around or even experience more than one in a single summer!

Explore our majors – horsemanship, mountain, or water
Horsemanship Major
Take the reins! New riders learn the basics and experienced riders hone their skills while working with specialized staff in the corral. They can even learn to play polocrosse and work cattle.
Mountain Major
Reach new heights! Tackle indoor and outdoor rock climbing, challenge yourself at the ropes course, shred mountain biking trails, and peak 14,000-foot mountains with experienced staff.
Water Major
Make a splash! Our water programs are unlike any other, with opportunities to swim, canoe, and whitewater raft and kayak. Practice in the small lakes on property, then head out to the high mountain lakes and the Arkansas River to adventure just minutes away.
