The Adventure Unlimited family

The A/U Ranches is part of Adventure Unlimited, a Denver-based non-profit offering a variety of engaging, spiritually-based activities for Christian Scientists of all ages. While our primary focus at the A/U Ranches is our Christian Science programming, our property also hosts the 100 Elk Outdoor Center, which serves a variety of secular school and other groups for team-building activities in an inclusive and inspiring environment. The other major branch of Adventure Unlimited, DiscoveryBound, offers year-round field activities and programs designed for participants to experience Christian Science in action on local, national, and international levels.

65 Years and Counting

John "Cap" and Marianne Andrews realized a dream when they started the A/U Ranches in the 1950s: to support Christian Science youth by better preparing them for life’s challenges. Today, we continue to approach all our programs with the same conviction. Programs at the A/U Ranches are designed to help guide and strengthen participants physically, mentally, and spiritually in an atmosphere that inspires.

The A/U Ranches is located at the base of the Colorado Rockies' 14,000-foot Collegiate Peaks in Buena Vista, Colorado. The A/U Ranches provides experiences and terrain unequaled anywhere. Our 1,100 acres are home to Sky Valley Ranch and Round-Up Ranch, a herd of about 40 horses, two climbing walls, two lakes, a yurt campus, a junior Olympic-sized pool, and many other amenities.
